Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PowerERM Human Resource Management System ("System") provided by Marine Power Company ("Company"). By accessing or using the System, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Authorized Use

The System is provided exclusively for authorized employees and personnel of Marine Power Company for the purpose of managing human resource functions. Access is granted based on your role and responsibilities within the organization.

  • You must use your assigned credentials (Employee ID and password) to access the System.
  • You must not share your login credentials with any other person.
  • You are responsible for all activities performed under your account.
  • You must log out of the System when leaving your workstation unattended.

2. Acceptable Use

When using the System, you agree to:

  • Use the System only for legitimate business purposes related to your role.
  • Provide accurate and truthful information when entering data.
  • Report any errors, discrepancies, or security concerns to the IT department or HR immediately.
  • Comply with all applicable company policies, Saudi Arabian labor laws, and regulations.

3. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

  • Attempt to access data or records beyond your authorized permissions.
  • Modify, delete, or tamper with records you are not authorized to change.
  • Use the System to harass, discriminate against, or harm other employees.
  • Share, export, or distribute employee data outside the System without proper authorization.
  • Attempt to bypass security controls, reverse-engineer, or exploit vulnerabilities in the System.
  • Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to interact with the System.
  • Access the System from unauthorized devices or networks.

4. Data Accuracy

You are responsible for ensuring that any personal information you enter or update in the System is accurate and current. This includes but is not limited to contact details, bank information, and document numbers. Inaccurate data may affect payroll processing, government filings, and your employment records.

5. Confidentiality

Information accessed through the System is confidential and proprietary to Marine Power Company. You must:

  • Treat all employee data and company information as confidential.
  • Not disclose salary, personal, or employment information of other employees unless authorized by your role.
  • Maintain confidentiality obligations even after termination of employment.

6. System Availability

While we strive to maintain the System's availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The System may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance and updates.
  • Technical issues or infrastructure failures.
  • Security incidents requiring immediate action.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance of planned downtime.

7. Intellectual Property

The System, including its design, code, features, and content, is the intellectual property of Marine Power Company. No part of the System may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without express written permission.

8. Account Termination

Your access to the System may be suspended or terminated:

  • Upon termination or resignation of employment.
  • If you violate these Terms of Use.
  • If your account is compromised and requires security action.
  • At the discretion of HR or IT administration for operational reasons.

9. Limitation of Liability

The System is provided "as is". Marine Power Company shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the System, including but not limited to data loss, processing errors, or unauthorized access resulting from user negligence.

10. Changes to Terms

Marine Power Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be made available through the System. Continued use of the System after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising from the use of the System shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
